What is Five Disciplines of Leadership Development?

Leaders are not born, they are developed.

Have you been purposeful and intentional in developing your own leadership qualities, or those of the emerging leaders under your supervision? Whether you are a seasoned executive or an aspiring junior leader, the Five Disciplines of Leadership Development will provide you with an easily understandable, vividly memorable, and replicable model for improving your ability to influence others and lead your team with purpose and confidence.

The Five Disciplines, and the framework that demonstrates their interdependent relationships, are foundational to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of your developmental program.

Join me as we explore how pursuing and practicing the Five Disciplines will cultivate the leadership attributes that every organization needs to perform at its peak.

A spark is something quite small and, by itself, not very powerful. But a spark has the ability to ignite. An idea is like a spark; alone it is just a set of words, but it too can ignite. A great idea can inspire others to dream bigger. Let us all work together to ignite something greater than ourselves.

Let us all be a Spark of Optimism.
