An interactive workshop to help you find your WHY led by Dr. Charles E. Dupre and one of Simon’s master trainers

Want to make a change in your workplace and grow together? Well, we want to help! This course is great for teams looking to discover or reinvigorate their sense of purpose.

What is Start with WHY for Educators?

Being an educator can be some of the most rewarding work there is – to help the people around you grow. Because of all you do to serve others, this class is designed to help YOU grow.

This interactive class is designed to walk you, step-by-step, through the process to find your WHY – your personal purpose, cause or belief. You will explore who you are at your natural best and put into words the very reason you went into education in the first place. It takes a willingness to be open, to share personal stories, and to trust the process. And through it all, we’re there to help.

In this class you will:

  • Unpack the concept of The Golden Circle from Start with WHY and apply it to Education
  • Share tools and the process to discover your individual WHY
  • Pair you with a partner so you can work 1-on-1 to write your WHY statement
  • Conduct live coaching to help you improve your WHY statement

Dr. Charles Dupre is Superintendent of Fort Bend ISD, Texas’ eighth-largest school district, serving more than 78,000 students. Under Dr. Dupre’s leadership, the district focuses on education and has increased opportunities for all students, including traditionally underrepresented groups. Born in Casablanca, Morocco, Dupre was raised in a children’s home in Missouri, where teachers were instrumental in helping him to find a bright vision for the future. He is a Certified Public Accountant, has a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and a doctorate in educational leadership. With a passion for growing both children and adults, Dupre has invested countless hours in shaping the future of others, through his role as Superintendent, mentor, Sunday school teacher, camp counselor and friend.

Over the years we’ve met some amazing people who embraced Simon’s ideas and philosophies. We call them Igniters because they were using those ideas to ignite positive change in their and other organizations. We were so impressed with their work, we invited them to join our team. Today, they work with us, arm-in-arm, to inspire people and advance our vision.

A spark is something quite small and, by itself, not very powerful. But a spark has the ability to ignite. An idea is like a spark; alone it is just a set of words, but it too can ignite. A great idea can inspire others to dream bigger. Let us all work together to ignite something greater than ourselves.

Let us all be a Spark of Optimism.
