Dr. Charles Dupre is Superintendent of Fort Bend ISD, Texas’ eighth-largest school district, serving more than 78,000 students. Under Dr. Dupre’s leadership, the district focuses on education and has increased opportunities for all students, including traditionally underrepresented groups. Born in Casablanca, Morocco, Dupre was raised in a children’s home in Missouri, where teachers were instrumental in helping him to find a bright vision for the future. He is a Certified Public Accountant, and has a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. With a passion for growing both children and adults, Dupre has invested countless hours in shaping the future of others, through his role as Superintendent, mentor, Sunday school teacher, camp counselor, and friend.
